A team from the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) has developed a method that respects the environment for the low-cost synthesis of several varieties of nanoparticles.

A research team at CUHK in collaboration with researchers at the University of Jena in Germany, for the first time developed a method to highlight the intrinsic properties of ferromagnetic nanowire semiconductors. This study was published in the August 2009 issue of the international journal Nature Nanotechnology.
