The Japanese National Institute of Information Technology and Communication (NICT) announced January 25, 2011 have successfully developed a 3D display requiring no glasses of 200 inches, making the screen while the 3D without glasses largest to date (approximately 2.5 m high and 4.5 m wide).
This is the result of research in cooperation with JVC Kenwood to allow enlargement of images of this type of screen. Indeed, during the expansion of 3D images by conventional methods, problems stripe noise (differences in brightness and color in the image manifested by the appearance of vertical bands), reduced resolution 3D image or images weathering during movement of the viewer are common.
The researchers behind the new screen performed a numerical analysis of the factors causing these problems and managed to find several solutions for solving these problems. Among these, include the ability to adjust to each projector screen brightness and color balance, use a diffuser film and a special condenser lens.

Touch screens like those on the iPhone or iPad type of interaction is the most successful to communicate with computers and smartphones . However , scientists at the Fraunhofer FIT computer technologies applied in Sankt Augustin ( North Rhine- Westphalia) [1 ] just crossed a new milestone in developing a system for gesture recognition in three dimensions without contact. The new system analyzes and interprets the position of the hands and fingers in real time . Wearing gloves or any specific markers is not required . The prototype is also capable of supporting multiple users simultaneously.
With the advent of touch screens and high popularity , the conventional systems of interaction such as keyboard and mice become less and less used . However , touch screens are limited to two-dimensional surfaces . The advantage of the technology of the Fraunhofer FIT is that it requires no contact and it is entirely based on gestures .
The prototype of the Fraunhofer FIT consists of a camera that follows the movement of the hand. It uses the principle of ” flight time “to determine the distance between camera and object tracking . Then , an image analysis software filters the position of the hand and fingers . Professor Georg Hackenberg , who developed the software, explains that “the data thus calculated can be seen as a high mountain plateau , where each vertex represents a finger . Criteria can also be added, such as hand size , length fingers , or the potential for coordination .

While the usual image sensors in digital cameras are usually in units of resolution megapixel Canon sensor is now presented with a resolution of 120 megapixels . Smestnaji while the area is approximately 29.2 x 20.2 mm .
Images are recorded in a sensor size of 13 280 x 9184 pixels . Higher pixel density is usually associated with lower image quality and greater demands on the light, so the question is , what photo sensor will be able to make . Samples of the Canon has not yet published .
Definitely not a sensor applicable in today’s current Compacts. Their optics would probably not fully exploited the opportunities and demands on the memory card would be too high . The problem would not seem contrary data processing speed . Canon claims that the sensor is able to achieve an output rate of 9.5 frames per second .

On the occasion of the conference Google I / O, which took place on 19 and 20 May in California, Sundar Pichai, Google Chrome Product Manager, presented the project Chrome Web Store, a sort of App Store for Web applications.
This directory is updated each year gathers information (name ,…) Web applications HTML5 will reference both Webapps free, but also other fee (which will be marketed through Google Checkout). These applications have the characteristic of not requiring installation on the disc hard work: they are content with a browser. They work with Chrome as well as on future browsers HTML5.
We can expect it to Google applications such as Gmail, Wave (now available without invitation), or Picasa. But other products will also be referenced as the game Lego Star Wars for example. Moreover, developers can submit their applications to integrate them in this directory. But it was not they meet the specifications of Google, on “Web applications installable.

Between Google and the Chinese authorities, the war seems bel and well reported. It all started after the attack mass cons Google’s servers in January, where according to the American company accounts Gmail among others have been pirated, specifically Courier of Chinese dissidents that contain Personal Data. Google says that after analyzing the attack was carried out under the leadership of the Chinese government, and this is obviously unacceptable.
This is the week that Google has responded by passing the much-criticized system of filtering imposed by the Chinese government on access to the Internet country. Since Tuesday, the Chinese version of engine of search filtered (google.cn) redirects to its equivalent in Hong Kong, unfiltered (google.com.hk). Please note that filtering sites on the Chinese Internet is still operating as an independent search engine. This result, if we are in China, have in search results links to sites inaccessible, or simply Google results pages which do not appear.
But Beijing hear it like that, and accused Google of not respecting a promise in writing requiring him to respect Chinese law, ie indirectly filtering Internet searches.

HDMI Licensing, LLC, the representative responsible for granting licenses for the standard High-Definition Multimedia Interface Announced the arrival of a new version of the specification of HDMI: 1.4a. This update day aims to meet the latest demands of the sector, particularly in terms of 3D television.
HDMI 1.4a provides the most promise for future compatibility with 3D terrain channels that invade the landscape broadcasting in recent years. In sum, whatever 3D format at the source, the HDMI 1.4a will enable consumers to be free of compatibility issues. This is insured by the consortium: “We have released new enhancements to ensure compatibility with standard market requirements in terms of broadcasting 3D content. When we launched the 1.4 in June 2009, we postponed the definition our panel mandatory formats for 3D Broadcast because the direction in which the market was not yet clearly defined “could explain Steve Venuti President of HDMI Licensing LLC.
