False malware distributed mail Facebook

It is distributing a new malware exploiting the broadcast networks that provide social, in this case, Facebook. It spreads via email and the hook is the famous social network. The malicious program is included in an email that is sent from a fake Facebook account , but has one or more. The email warns users that have been tagged in a photo . Actually, the link takes you to a false and fraudulent web.

The social network Facebook is one of the favorite ways cybercriminals. It is a quick and easy to spread malicious software. They, of course, with the greed of users who see a chance to win a product with a single click. Or his curiosity , in any case: “Look who has visited your profile”, “I have labeled” etc..

Criminals network also are increasingly careful not to arouse suspicion. This time, the blog of the security company Sophos, Naked Security, this new campaign warns of malware on the hook to use as labels notifications of Facebook photos. Users receive an email to your email account that comes supposedly from Facebook.

Mail is very similar to the actual notification of the social network and ensures that the user has been tagged in a new picture. As has the same appearance, usury does not notice certain details, for example, that in the email address from which the mail the word Facebook is written with three o’s instead of two.

If the user clicks the link, thinking it will be redirected to the Facebook page, in fact, it is to a website that hosts some sequence of commands iFrame exploit kit that uses the Blackhole and puts your computer at risk of infection malware. Finally, the Trojan Troj / JSRedir-HW is installed on the user’s computer.
