A common problem in wastewater treatment and management is the accumulation of sludge generated in the same.
As a solution ESTRUAGUA offers its sludge storage hopper, model TAF ®, Capacities ranging from 5m3 to 100 m3.

This type of sludge storage tanks are manufactured in cylindrical form with standard character, demand can be built in a trapezoidal shape.

The standard construction material is carbon steel A/42-b quality, however demand can be built into any other material.

Description:

Support Legs:

Normally manufactured hot rolled IPE or UPN depending on the load capacity of the hopper, each team has four legs which are electrically welded plates of either union or the body of the hopper.

Body:

Cylindrical run at the top and tapered at the bottom, its thickness varies between 4.00 mm and 6.00 mm depending on the volume of the same external reinforcements standard profiles, either angular or UPN.

At the top of the tank located the mouth load of sludge, the deposit is completely closed thereby preventing unwanted odors and has a safety rail across the borders.

Stairs:

The hoppers “”TAF ®“” Have two types of ladders, the first that comes to the discharge and the second takes us from the discharge to the top of the tank or cargo area.

Spout:

Axctuador execution by electric or hydraulic piston through the intermediary of hydraulic, both run / Off.

Surface protection

All storage bins “”TAF ®“” Made in A/-42.b quality carbon steel, are subjected to the following process to finish and corrosion protection

- Interior
- Sand blasting to the degree of
- 4 layers of tar epoxy primer (50 microns each)

- Exterior
- Sand blasting to the degree of
- 4 layers of tar epoxy primer (50 microns each)
- 2 coats HEMPEL two components (50 microns each)
